Pike County
Protecting homes and businesses from the devastating effect of flooding has been a key focal point for Rogers. He has secured essential infrastructure funds for flood control projects in S. Williamson and beyond so that businesses in Pike County can continue to grow and families can feel safe in their homes. Relatedly, Rogers provided funding to secure a trash boat to clear lake debris at Fishtrap Lake.
Opening up southern and eastern Kentucky through expanding road infrastructure is key to jumpstarting the local economy. He continues to fight to upgrade and expand 119 so that local communities can continue to grow and bring new jobs to the region.

Toward that end, Rogers has worked with Pikeville Hospital and Pikeville Medical College for important upgrades and was instrumental in locating a downtown parking garage to serve these facilities. Rogers was also instrumental in bringing Westcare to nearby Ashcamp to help individuals seeking to end drug addiction find hope and a place to go for help and rehabilitation.

Pike County UNITE
- Millard Middle School won the UNITE Middle School Club of the Year award for the Big Sandy Region in 2009.
- Operation UNITE teamed up with former University of Kentucky standouts Tim Couch and Craig Yeast to offer a regional football skills camps at Pikeville High School's field in June 2009. Friends of Coal and Joe Craft sponsored the event.
- A Back-to-School Bash was held at Pikeville City Park. Free school supplies were distributed. Event included free food, inflatables for the children, and informational booths.
- In July 2009, a free parent conference for those who have family members addicted to drugs was held at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Pikeville. Topics discussed included addiction, enabling and relapse. Sponsored by UNITE Pike.
