Internships

Congressman Rogers offers internship opportunities in Washington, D.C. for high school graduates from the Fifth Congressional District of Kentucky. Interns in the Washington office spend six weeks to a semester performing a variety of administrative and legislative duties, and have the opportunity to experience firsthand the inner workings of a Congressional office.

Interested students may be eligible to receive college credit for their work if approved by their school before beginning the internship. Additionally, candidates selected for internships will receive a small stipend from the U.S. House of Representatives to help defray the costs of living. However, housing is not provided and must be secured by the intern prior to arriving in Washington.

Summer Internships are generally between June and August, spring internships are from January to May, and fall internships are from August to December.
