Veteran Health

If you are a veteran and have questions or concerns regarding COVID-19 and the resources available to you, please refer to the VA’s COVID-19 FAQ page and the VA’s public health response page for information.

Veterans, active duty service members and their families are encouraged to find their nearest Vet Center and call to get connected to counseling services or reach out to the 24/7 Vet Center Call Center at 1-877-927-8387.

If you have symptoms of fever, cough, and shortness of breath, call or message your VA medical center before going to a clinic, urgent care center, or emergency room. Calling first helps the VA protect you, medical staff, and other patients. Additionally, many Vet Centers are currently utilizing telehealth services through VA Video Connect and can also speak to individuals via phone to ensure medical assistance is as available as possible.

Finally, if you are a Veteran in crisis or concerned about one, connect with one of the VA’s caring, qualified responders for confidential help. Many of them are Veterans themselves.
