Jamie Pursifull, a 2009 graduate from Middlesboro High School, served as an intern in Congressman Hal Rogers' office for a duration of five weeks this summer. Jamie will be a senior at Georgetown College this fall and plans to attend graduate school after her undergraduate degrees are completed.

"It was such a blessing to be able to work with my congressman in DC," said Pursifull. "I had the opportunity to learn about the inner workings of government first hand and it was truly an amazing experience. I will forever remember my time in DC."
