WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Rep. Harold “Hal” Rogers (KY-05) voted for the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) of 2026, providing $900 billion for national defense programs and advancing President Trump’s Peace Through Strength Agenda. It authorizes nearly $97 million for three projects in Kentucky, including aviation support at Fort Knox, a new air traffic control tower at Fort Campbell and a new vehicle maintenance shop at the National Guard Armory in Jackson.
The NDAA strengthens border security, modernizes our military fleet and weapons with the latest innovation, ends extreme woke policies in our military, and gives American troops a 3.8% raise.
“When America stands strong, we eliminate threats from adversaries who prey on weak targets. The NDAA is our blueprint for preserving peace through a stronger national defense, paving the way for the Golden Dome and next-gen weapons, warships and fighter aircraft. It also grows our industrial base with more defense manufacturing jobs and supply chains across America,” said Congressman Rogers, Dean of the House. “Our brave military servicemembers also receive a much-deserved pay raise in this bill, and merit-based promotions.”
The NDAA also strengthens nuclear deterrence and provides critical resources to stand firm against adversaries like China, Russia, Iran and North Korea.
