WASHINGTON, DC -- U.S. Rep. Harold "Hal" Rogers issued the following statement after Israel launched a strike on Iran on Thursday night, followed by a retaliatory missile attack from Iran. 

"The United States must stand firm in our support of Israel, and provide strength for our allied nation against Iran’s nuclear threats. We will protect American forces and U.S. interests. Under no circumstances should Iran target the U.S."
